Application
SAM Double Flap Discharge Gates are used specifically as airlocks and
they are in service throughout industry for heavy use. They are designed
to meet operating conditions as : high temperature, abrasive materials
and/or large granulometry.
Size
Available in four standard sizes: 250, 315, 400, 500.
Pressure range
Up to 0,4 bar pressure differential with gearmotor
operation and 0,5 bar pressure differential with pneumatic operation.
Temperature
Handled material temperature up to 900°C.

Operation
Direct with helical gearmotor (SAM Version) or with
pneumatic cylinders (SAP Version).
Accessories
Inductive revolution control device; magnetic sensors to check the position
of the pneumatic cylinders.
Features
1 Out-board mounted
sealed flanged ball bearings.
The ball bearings are provided with high quality grease.
External bearings prevent the material from entering into the bearing
and facilitates use at high temperatures too.
2 The shaft seal is with PTFE or graphite packing glands.
3 Compact and strong carbon steel or stainless steel housing.
4 Removal internal hoppers and flaps have machined contact faces
and also are available in wear-resisting materials or stainless steel.
5 Flaps are operated by a gearmotor and fitted with a spring
return system.
This system, more than the counterweight version, permits to
maintain a regular working even with variable product loads.
