Surge Protection Devices MTL SD SeriesThe SD Series is a range of mechanically identical, but electrically varied Surge Protection Devices which safeguard instruments in almost all possible applications. Clamping easily onto DIN rail to provide a firm fixing and sound earth connection, each 7 mm-wide device provides hybrid surge-protection for one 2-wire loop, with an optional loop-disconnect facility provided by a replaceable fuse. |

All SD Series devices have nanosecond reaction times; specific models are chosen on the basis of working voltage. Surge ratings are 10kA (6.5kA for 150V and 275V models). Versions are available for high bandwidth, low resistance, RTD, PSTN and 3 wire transmitter applications. |
