Madison's
continuous level transducers are designed for vertical mounting
in a tank. Reed switches are evenly spaced over the operation
range and encapsulated within the switch stem, along with
signal electronics. A single magnet-containing float travels
the length of the sensing range. The reed switches are magnetically
actuated as the float moves with the liquid level. DC power
is applied to the switch, and the output signal can then
be routed to programmable controllers, microprocessors or
readout meters.
Flexibility
for Varied Fluid Environments
Model
3892 has a Brass stem and Buna-N float
and is suitable for any application with petroleum-based
liquids, such as diesel, lubricating oils and petrochemicals.
Model
3895
features a 316 Stainless Steel stem and is available with
a choice of two float materials:
Stainless
Steel for use in a broad range of fluids. Suggested
applications include food and beverage processing, medical,
paint, ink and solvents.
Polypropylene
(FDA-approved) for food-type applications, as well as
general purpose use in water and water-based liquids.
Suitable
for Any Tank Application
These
transducers are ideal for:
- remote
sensing in tanks with restricted or limited access
- precise
liquid level monitoring in a series of tanks in mixing
operations
- central
monitoring of liquid level in remote multiple tanks
- any
tank application where exact liquid level needs to be
known at any time
