Loop powered set point stations [set point generator] enable the current flowing in a 4/20mA loop to be manually adjusted from within a process area. The set point stations digital display may be calibrated to show the 4/20mA current in engineering units, thus allowing an operator to easily adjust a controller set point or an actuator position.
