Ultrasonic Gas Flow Meter FC1221

The FC1221 ultrasonic gas flow meter is based on the transit-phase measurement principle. Transducers are placed perpendicular to the flow, this makes the FC1221 the shortest of any ultrasonic flow meter.
Contrary to their conventional counterparts, the FC1221 is not affected by the turbulance and impurities of the gas as the phase shift is increased in the distributed flow. The FC1221 is particularly advantageous for the measurement of the wet gases and can also be applied to the two-phase flow measurement.
They superseed vortex flow meters by rangeability and do not create pressure drop.
